- Q: How do the Fridge-to-go® bags work?
- A: Fridge-to-go® bags are very easy to use, just remove the panel from the zippered pocket and place this (or the whole bag if you prefer) in the freezer overnight. Replace the panel when you want to use it, fill and go.
- Q: Do the Fridge-to-go® bags keep things warm?
- A: No, the Fridge-to-go® range acts like your fridge and has been made to keep things cool like a fridge.
- Q: Do the Fridge-to-go® bags keep things frozen?
- A: Generally, the bags will work as your home fridge does. If you put something frozen in either the fridge or a Fridge-to-go bag, it will gradually thaw, but this melting process will take longer than if you were to leave it out on the counter to thaw.
- Q: Are the Fridge-to-go® bags appropriate to store expressed milk?
- A: Absolutely, this is an ideal method of transporting the precious liquid to ensure it stays cool and fresh up to 8 hours.
- Q: Do you sell the bags at retail?
- A: Yes, we sell at multiple physical and online retail outlets – please see our stockists page.
- Q: Do you sell the cooling panels separately so I can have a spare in the freezer at all times?
- Yes, we carry spare panels for both the small and medium lunch bags, see each product for more details.
- Q: Can you suggest what size bag I will need?
- A: All models vary significantly in size and shape so please see our products menu and note that internal sizes are provided with each to assist.
- Q: I don’t have a credit card or PayPal facilities, can I still purchase from Fridge-to-go®?
- A: Please contact us if this applies to you and we will do our best to assist.
- Q: I want to use a credit card (Visa or Mastercard) NOT PayPal, can I do this?
- A: Even if you have an existing PayPal account you can choose to use your credit card. The follow up payment email does have PayPal branding as all transactions are processed by them on our behalf (including credit cards independent of PayPal) although choosing the credit card option will ensure payment is made here and not with PayPal.
- Q: Do you have a bag that is ideal for golfers?
- A: The Mini Fridge 6 has a 6 can capacity and can be hung from your golf bag (by the shoulder strap) or taken in the golf cart.
- Q: How many baby bottles do your bags hold?
- A: The single bottle tote holds 1 bottle. The small lunch bag and 2-bottle tote each hold 2 bottles and the medium lunch bag holds 3 bottles.
- Q: I was looking at your global website www.fridge-to-go.com – can I buy any of these models from you?
- A: No, we only stock the models shown in our products section as there are too many models globally to stock in a variety of colours. We have chosen models that are appropriate for the Australian market including a variety for many purposes.
- Q: Are the 2-bottle tote and small lunch similar in capacity?
- A: Yes, both will hold 2 x baby bottles plus snacks although the 2-bottle tote is slightly taller so will fit a standard, 600ml water bottle upright.
- Q: Will the insulin freeze in the diabetic travel wallet?
- A: No, the diabetic travel wallet has been rigorously tested and the insulin won’t freeze. If you have any concerns at all, just leave the bag out and open for 10-15 minutes before putting any medication/vials inside the bag.
- Q: I need to get my bag delivery urgently as I need it right away, can you assist?
- A: Absolutely, contact us via email or telephone and we'll do all we can to assist and organise a quicker method of transport.
- Q: The NEW CoolPad sounds great, will it get rid of a child's fever?
- A: The CoolPad is designed to provide cool relief similar to a cold compress when a child is not feeling well. The main difference is the CoolPad will stay cool up to 2 hours so is much more efficient and continuous in its cooling relief.
- Q: Can I take the small lunch bag on an airplane overseas?
- A: The Small Lunch bag panel contains 260ml of liquid (purified salt water) so does contain MORE than the allowed 100ml for carry on luggage. We have travelled extensively with this bag overseas and never had a problem at customs. We recommend that you do contact the airline you're flying with for more details to be sure.
- Q: How can I clean my lunch bag as it's gotten quite smelly?
- A: Generally it is not recommended to immerse the bags in water as this may reduce their lifespan. We recommend using baking soda/vinegar and water to give the bags a good clean out on a regular basis. Also, tell your child (or yourself) to keep the bag zipped closed as this will reduce wetness overall. If all else fails, I have heard of others putting the Fridge-to-go bags (with panel removed) into a delicate wash cycle in the washing machine to keep them clean and fresh although this may reduce the lifespan of your bag.
- Q: I live overseas (not in Australia) can I still purchase from your website?
- A: Of course although you will need to contact us at info@fridge-to-go.net.au with your postal details so we can advise what the additional postage charge will be. We take Visa and Mastercard and can organise to get these details over email/txt or telephone as suitable.
- Q: What is the weight of your lunch bags empty?
- A: The Small Lunch bag is 500g and the Medium Lunch bag is 700g both empty.
- Q: I have a long Tupperware container, do you have a lunch bag to fit this?
- A: The Golfridge XT model does hold one of these Tupperware containers although this is a limited stocked item and is currently not available. If you're interested in this model, please email us at info@fridge-to-go.net.au as if enough people want this model we may carry limited stock in future (especially for the back to school period).
- Q: Do you have the medium lunch bag in other colours besides navy and black?
- A: We now carry the Medium Lunch bag in red as well.
- Q: I love the Fridge-to-go bags and want to tell my child's pre-school/school/playgroup/sports team about them?
- A: If you would like some flyers we are happy to send them to you to assist. Additionally, we have a wonderful fundraising opportunity with $5 from every bag sold going back to your institution - for more info see http://www.fridge-to-go.net.au/fundraising.
- Q: I've purchased a bag and it's too small. How do I exchange it.
- A: You must post the original bag (in excellent re-sellable condition) back to us at Fridge-to-go Exchanges, PO Box 1130, Brookvale NSW 2100 at your cost. We will then sort out the difference depending upon which model you would like and pay the postage for this bag to be sent out to you. Ask if you have any questions.
- Q: I would like to use American Express, but it doesn't appear that you take this card?
- A: We would be happy to take your order over the phone if convenient so you can use your American Express card - contact us on 02 9938 3580.
